Civics Curriculum
Curriculum Overview
This curriculum is aligned with the National Council for Social Studies middle school standards. I aim to incorporate summative and formative assessments throughout every unit. This is my current yearly curriculum guide for seventh grade social studies. I am also using the McGraw Hill Florida Civics, Economics, and Geography textbook to gather my content and curriculum pacing.
Unit Plans
These are my quarterly plans about the units we covered during those nine weeks. I list the National Council for Social Sciences (NCSS) standards that the unit is aligned to, the assessments in the unit, and the content I will be covering. Every unit the students must complete guided notes on that units content. Every unit also includes formative and summative assesments.
